Where is the year going to, honestly we are moving swiftly into Autumn as the leaves begin to change and the nights draw in.  Aches and pains seem to be the order of the day here at Castley Treatments as the weather becomes a little colder and damper and a warming massage certailnly seems to do the trick. I did a talk recently to the Darley Debs W I on reflexology and Foot Health which I really enjoyed doing.

Life on the farm is looking towards the winter months as the Boys prepare for the cattle to come in, they have new accommodation this year and will lay on sand instead of straw, much better for them apparently, if nothing else they will be beautifully exfoliated, honestley those dear Castley Farm Ladies (cows) get just as much pampering as my clients!!

I hope you are managing to enjoy the beautiful sunny days we are having at the moment, all the mangers I planted in the early summer are still in full bloom and look as if they will last for ages yet adding a wonderful splash of colour  to greet my clients when they arrive.

My nearest and dearest said the other day that we must not just sit around on the dark evenings and should do some excercise of some sort, well aside from setting out for a walk wearing head torches, totally silly or joining a gym which is not our cup of tea because we are not very good at turning out to such a venue after a long day.  I have come up with the ideal solution and purchased a rowing maching and an excercise bike ( which is still in the box, but early days!!) therefore taking the bull by the horns or what I should say the bike by the handle bars and discipline ourselves to keep fit over the coming months, hopefully.  It is so easy to be distracted or just to cosy up infront of the fire, but row and cycle we must!!
